Welcome to West Common Lane Teaching Practice
West Common Lane Teaching Practice first opened in 1991, with our branch site opening in 2015 within Ashby Clinic. Currently our practice list size is around 8000 patients and continues to grow. Dr Hall, Dr Thomas, and Dr Green, GP Partners, are keen to further develop the practice and, as part of their plan, welcomed Dr Ope, our former GP Registrar, to the team as a Salaried GP in March 2026, bringing further clinical experience to the practice. The practice continues to have a strong ethos for teaching and training, with doctors at all levels, GP Registrars, Foundation Doctors, Medical Students, Student Nurses and Apprentices.
